摘要: Dichloromethane extracts of Cedrela salvadorensis and dugessi afforded a photogedunin epimeric mixture, gedunin cedrelanolide. These compounds the acetates 3 4 at 23-OH position were evaluated against Spodoptera frugiperda. Toosendanin, isolated from Melia azedarach, was used as positive control. When tested for activity on neonate larvae into no-choice bioassays, gedunin, mixture caused significant larval mortality with LC(50) 39.0, 10.0, 8.0 ppm 7 days, respectively, well growth reduction. All inhibited growth, compared to control, in concentration-dependent manner. In addition, it possible observe reduced pupal weights adult emergence. except cedrelanolide showed comparable that toosendanin.
