Step-up DC-DC converter for automotive application

摘要: Electrification of vehicle accessories often requires the application low voltage high current step up DC-DC converter with a gain ratio qualified for use in an automotive environment. The proposed topology provides step-up on side that reduces transformer turns ratio, leading to simplified design reduced cost and increased efficiency which is especially important input (10–20VDC) at 2–4kW or more. Fundamental operation has been verified by simulation NL-5. An experimental prototype built, verifies performance circuit topology. High (94%, 3kW 94.5%, 10kW) prototypes have built. This better solution higher power than parallel stages. It was compared other topologies performance.
