摘要: The evaluation of motor cortical output after transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is a means investigating how the cortex reacts to external stimuli (i.e., method assess excitability cortex). recording descending volleys at surface spinal cord provides direct measure output. However, this approach highly invasive and can be used only during particular conditions. On other hand, electromyographic recordings phenomena induced by TMS provide completely painless, noninvasive, indirect output, with these obviously reflecting motoneurons as well that muscle itself. authors review activity valuable information about for use in clinical practice research.
