摘要: To determine the influence of acyl side chain on IgE antibody specificity two most common penicillins inducing allergic reactions in our community, benzyl-penicillin (BP) and amoxicillin (AX), positive sera from a group 24 patients to penicillin were studied. RAST was determined parallel benzyl penicilloyl-polylysine (BPO-PLL) amoxicilloyl-polylysine (AX-PLL) each serum, values greater than an established coefficient variation 15% considered as different for either haptens used (BP AX). 16 proved be more BP (Group A), six AX B) both with similar value C). titration concentration effect curves inhibition studies pool (A, B, C) individual showed that them specific BPO or AX, minority being both. These findings indicate structure is relevant constitution antigenic determinant, although some instances chemical betalactam recognised mainly by antibodies. The clinical relevance these data needs established.
