摘要: Abstract Ceramic and metallic monoliths coated with cryptomelane-type manganese oxides were prepared tested as catalysts for the oxidation of ethyl acetate. Several preparation conditions optimized in order to enhance activity monoliths. Monoliths different cell sizes, same number immersions washcoating solution or similar loadings evaluate effect this parameter on adherence active phase catalytic final monolith. characterization techniques used assess properties these it was found that almost all maintained after process. The thermal conductivity structured supports must be taken into account interpret results highly endothermic exothermic reactions. location measurement thermocouple is decisive when analyzing since can give rise apparent differences activity. In our specific case, available data suggest catalyst not significantly altered by deposition process used.
