摘要: Using ground truth and remote sensing data this paper tries to demonstrate once again that commons as well privately owned pastures are managed by their appropriators in such a manner sustainability goal can be approached, while areas not recognized controlled one or more legitimate persons hence open all may overexploited. The analysis of which the western Liddar valley Kashmir (India) shows these lands overexploited nomadic transhumant pastoralists using them. On whole, individually were also found overstocked. Those plots, however, through herders transit on bi-annual migration being any authority highly degraded.
