摘要: Unequal regional development is a feature of most Latin American countries [LAC] (see Cuadrado-Roura and Gonzalez-Catalan 2013). As the spatial agglomeration economic activity has become an important determinant country’s growth pattern (Puga Venables 1999), much existing empirical research in been focused primarily on relationship between inequality (see, for example, Aroca Hewings 2002). Nevertheless, although authors like (2005) stress theoretical root exports development, studies which examine as inequalities are less frequent. While different models make predictions with respect to impact differentials, evidence export diversity (that is, specialization) have only recently begun be measured.
