摘要: Not So Private Lives was a national survey involving 2032 same-sex attracted Australians, aged 18-82, living in metropolitan and rural Australia. Findings relate to gender age-cohort differences for awareness of attractions, preferred timing disclosure one’s sexuality everyday encounters, personal preferences relationship recognition (marriage vs. civil unions), perceptions how others value relative heterosexual relationships, numbers with planning on having children, the role mainstream acceptance when first taking into account support from similar others, psychological well-being (including comparative data based random sample Australian general population US lesbian, gay bisexual sample).
