摘要: Abstract The classical, linear theory of piezoelectricity is briefly reviewed. Applications to piezoelectric vibrations are discussed for plates infinite and finite extents, uniform variable thicknesses, with full partial coatings, under initial stresses. Recently developed theories elastic dielectrics, i.e., the polarization gradient diatomic presented. Their accommodations many physical phenomena not accounted by classical their convergences relations long-wave limits dynamical crystal lattices discussed.
