Determinants of subjective quality of life among rural adolescents: a developmental perspective

摘要: This study examines youths' experiences of loneliness and community connectedness in relation to seven domains subjective quality life among pre-adolescents, early adolescents, middle adolescents. Participants consisted 464 youth, ranging age from 11 17 years, two rural towns. Youth reported on their perceptions environments (neighbourhood school). Hierarchical regressions indicated the importance accounting for less so pre-adolescents. Community factors significantly accounted additional variance pre-adolescents' reports life, compared with adolescents' reports. Discussion highlights understanding determinants an individual, community, developmental perspective.
