摘要: Abstract Self-absorbed radiation from solid carbon particles in an axially symmetric propane diffusion flame, as well the sodium D line (5890 A), was examined spectroscopically. Radial distributions of emission and absorption coefficients were obtained by inverting lateral specific intensity data. The temperature distribution applying Kirchoff's law to local coefficients. Carbon particle agrees with over a major portion zone. Absorption measurements made at wavelengths ranging 2330 A 11,000 A. From these measurements, size is estimated be between 200 300
