摘要: Abstract The results of several investigations to determine how the mechanical and physical properties iron, nickel cobalt base alloys could be modified by composition changes or thermal treatments improve their small solid particle erosion resistance are presented in this review paper. It has been found that near room temperature behavior essentially all these structural is very similar rate mechanism regardless strength other property levels. No definitive alloy selection criteria for established. addition hard, carbide particles metal matrices does not until approximately 80 vol.% composite a continuous skeleton particles. However, combined erosion-corrosion, type occurs coal burning energy generation equipment, it nature oxide scales form on metals governs wastage. Relatively low content steels with scale morphologies segmented can have much lower wastage rates than higher whose more nature.
