摘要: This paper reports the formation of weak gel chitin with an ionic liquid, 1-allyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide (IL). When a mixture 5% (w/w) IL was heated at 100 degrees C for 48h, clear liquid obtained. The experimental process observed by CCD camera view and SEM analysis. From in higher concentration (7%, w/w), more viscous material, i.e., gel-like material rheological evaluations showed that both 7% chitins behaved as gels.
