摘要: White matter hyperintensities (WMH) of presumed vascular origin, as seen on T2-weighted fluid attenuated inversion recovery magnetic resonance imaging, are known to increase with age and elevated in Alzheimer's disease (AD). The cognitive implications these common markers not well understood. Previous research has primarily focused global measures WMH burden broad localizations that contain multiple white tracts. aims this study were determine the pattern accumulation age, risk for AD, relationship function utilizing a voxel-wise analysis capable identifying specific regions. A total 349 participants underwent T1-weighted high-resolution imaging neuropsychological testing.
