摘要: A case-control study was undertaken in Montreal to investigate the possible associations between occupational exposures and cancers of following sites: oesophagus, stomach, colo-rectum, liver, pancreas, lung, prostate, bladder, kidney, melanoma lymphoid tissue. In total, 3,726 cancer patients 533 population controls were interviewed obtain detailed lifetime job histories information on potential con-founders. Each history translated into a exposures. Because current concerns about formaldehyde carcinogenicity, we carried out special analysis association exposure each type covered by this study. Separate statistical analyses for using as well control series drawn from among other sites Although nearly quarter all subjects had undergone formaldehyde, levels general quite low. There no persuasive evidence an increased risk any men exposed these formaldehyde. However, possibility small increase could not be ruled out.
