摘要: The Gymnophiona are the least well known amphibian order, an unfortunate situation because these animals can clarify many aspects of natural history, vertebrate evolution, and physiology viviparity fossorial life. Our aims to assemble a number topics about current knowledge Caecilian morphology, integrate our own observations on morpho-physiology Brazilian species (Siphonops annulatus). We start with brief discussion evolution group some general its ecology behavior. Then we cover external anatomy, emphasizing morpho-physiological skeleton, skull, teeth integument. ventilation gas exchange, blood circulation, water exchange sensory organs, stress fascinating morphology associated viviparity, finish energetics. hope that this review will extend interest in become both helpful reference source insight for scientists search new questions.
