Searching XML Element Using Terms Propagation Method

摘要: In this paper, we describe terms propagation method dealing with focussed XML component retrieval. Focussed retrieval is one of the most important challenge in IR field. The aim approach to find exhaustive and specific element that focus on user need. These needs can be expressed through content queries composed simple keyword. Our provides a natural representation document, its elements content, allows an automatic selection combination better answers user’s query. paper show efficiency using weighting formula takes into account size nodes document. has been evaluated «Focused» task INEX 2006 compared XFIRM model which based relevance method.
