摘要: Abstract A numerical and experimental study of the laminar flow heat transfer characteristics a cylinder in cross-flow is presented. The computational technique used stream function-vorticity formulation steady state incompressible Navier–Stokes energy equations uses Gauss–Seidel over-relaxation to obtain function temperature distributions. Calculations are presented for an isothermally heated single tube duct with different blockage ratios. variation local Nusselt number, pressure also isotherm streamline contours predicted Reynolds number 120 390. For 390, distributions shown be similar those obtained through measurement flux from surface using micro-foil sensor.
