摘要: We propose and analyze the use of quantum-beat phenomena to test neoclassical radiation theory (NCT) quantum electrodynamics (QED). For a beam-foil type experiment with atoms having one upper level two closely spaced lower levels, all coherently excited, NCT predicts presence beats in emitted radiation; are not expected QED. QED when many present, agreement recent photon-echo experiments. An is suggested.
