The chemistry of antimony fluoride compounds is studied. used mild fluorinating agent for the production fluorocarbons nonmetals metals replacement other halides. It also in manufacture glass. moderate powerful oxidizer. to saturate double bonds intercalated graphite. produce superacid systems. Anhydrous metal salts can be uv catalysts polymers. Arsenic agent, semiconductors, synthesis hexafluoroarsenates. Arsenic ion implantation, conductive polymers. However, environmental regulatory concerns have severely limited these applications.
