摘要: Soil fungi are ecologically important as decomposers, pathogens, and symbionts in nature. Understanding their biogeographic patterns driving forces is pivotal to predict alterations arising from environmental changes ecosystem. Dissolved organic matter (DOM) an essential resource for soil fungi; however, the role of its quality structuring fungal community remains elusive. Here using Illumina MiSeq sequencing, we characterized total functional groups 45 samples collected a 1500-km sampling transect through semi-arid regions northern China, which currently suffering great pressure climate change. Total were all observed exhibit significant primarily driven by variables. DOM was best consistent predictor diversity both groups. Specifically, plant-derived associated with greater relative microbe-dominated origins. In addition, linearly increased increases degree humification DOM. Similarly, among measured variables, had strongest effects on composition Together, our work contributes factors underlying adds detail importance communities.
