摘要: Abstract The Drosophila gap gene hunchback (hb) is required for the establishment of anterior segment pattern embryo, and also a small region posterior pattern. The hb encodes two transcripts from promoters which show differential regulation, although they code same protein product. 3.2-kb transcript expressed during oogenesis forms an anterior-posterior gradient early stages development. first zygotic expression cleavage 11-12 due to 2.9-kb transcript. Its under control organizer bicoid (bcd) it appears be necessary sufficient segmentation. again at syncytial blastoderm stage in yolk nuclei, as well stripe posteriorly adjacent domain transcript, stripe. Using hb-promoter/lacZ fusion constructs combination with germ line transformation, we have delimited regulatory approximately 300 bp upstream site transcription initiation that this confer full regulation by bcd.
