摘要: The tides in the Baltic Sea are weak but unmistakably recognizable sea-level spectra. Multiyear hourly tide gauge series enable us to examine specific tidal properties detail and identify some unexpected effects. Two nearby stations on southeastern coast of sea, namely Baltiysk, located strait connecting Vistula Lagoon Sea, Otkrytoe, Curonian Lagoon, found have very different character motions. Based 13 years simultaneous observations at these we constructed high-resolution spectra sea level fluctuations that demonstrated spectrum Baltiysk is “classical” with sharp peaks corresponding major constituents: M2, S2, N2, K1, O1, P1. Unlike main peak Otkrytoe S1 frequency; P1, S2 harmonics also significant peaks, while other (including M2 O1) undistinguishable. Further analysis indicated generated by ordinary gravitational forces, they induced solar radiation, specifically breeze winds creating wind setups setdowns Lagoon. Moreover, our findings demonstrate observed K1 P1 related not forces seasonal modulation radiational constituent. separate “summer” “winter” reveals prominent (S1 S2) summer absence winter. results support assumption motions associated sea/land temperature contrasts, which substantial during warm (ice-free) season vague cold when ice cover diminishes contrasts.
