摘要: Work carried out during the development of a production process for (S)-Metolachlor, an important herbicide now produced on >10,000 t/year scale with homogeneous catalyst, is used as example to describe design and preparation immobilized catalysts in industrial environment. In course this work, modular approach covalent immobilization was developed. It shown that industrially relevant properties can indeed be prepared but these tend substantially more complex expensive than their counterparts.
