摘要: Work carried out during the development of a production process for (S)-Metolachlor, an important herbicide now produced on >10,000 t/year scale with homogeneous catalyst, is used as example to describe design and preparation immobilized catalysts in industrial environment. In course this work, modular approach covalent immobilization was developed. It shown that industrially relevant properties can indeed be prepared but these tend substantially more complex expensive than their counterparts. The second part addresses question which requirements catalyst must meet interest. Different methods separated by filtration or extraction are discussed assessed from our personal point view experience. shown, accepted, have clear advantage over counterparts strategy has tailored type product well limitations time money spent. concluded most feasible method chiral adsorption suitable solid supports.
