摘要: Influenza causes around 3–5 million cases of severe illness each year, with 290 000–650 000 deaths worldwide. People older than 65 years age account for up to 90% from influenza. Vaccination is the most effective way protect those at risk morbidity and mortality. This article briefly summarises vaccination recommendations 2018/19 influenza season stresses importance increasing uptake in eligible groups general practice.
