摘要: Interviews with 51 consecutive women presenting to the University of North Carolina's abortion clinic over a two-month period in 1994 confirmed hypothesis that this population has experienced an above-average incidence domestic violence. 31.4% seekers reported lifetime history physical or sexual abuse; 21.6% these had been abused prior calendar year and 7.8% abuse during current pregnancy (none for first time). 54.5% self-reported witnessed violence their family origin 36.4% as child.
