摘要: From an examination of computational methods, one can select the most accurate method for calculating a gas deviation factor (Z), that needs least computer time, and whether microcomputer or larger machine is needed. This covered thirteen methods describing Standing-Katz natural chart has been used more than 40 years. Petroleum engineering calculations often require knowledge Z-factors gases, but experimental data from pressure-volume-temperature (p-V-T) measurements are seldom available. In such cases, use Z-factor its tabulated form generally accepted.
