Effective Municipal Solid Waste Management Practices: A Case study of Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India

摘要: Management of Municipal Solid Waste is an essential and obligatory function Urban Local Body. But even today several ULBs are budget deficit, lack technical staff clear conceptual understanding to discharge this effectively. An attempt has been made assess the existing solid waste management system, environmental concerns, future interventions with respect social well being.
