摘要: Improved two component polymerizable polyorganosiloxane compositions are described, particularly for use in making dental impressions, having improved tear strength and wettability. results from inclusion of a quadri-functional polysiloxane vinyl content 0.16 to 0.24 m-mole/g. Working time is maintained by including sufficient amounts retarder composition that delays onset the polymerization. Wettability surfactant resulting surface contact angle with water at three minutes less than 50°. The chosen has an HLB 8-11, such wetting achieved within remains throughout working impression taking, substantially improving quality. A low viscosity material provided includes base catalyst component. Both components siloxane-based materials.
