摘要: Abstract Two vaporizing droplets moving in tandem are numerically investigated. The forced convection of the gas phase, transient deceleration due to drag force, surface regression, relative motion between two droplets, internal circulation, heating liquid and variable properties considered. unsteady, axisymmetric description global flowfield, behavior interacting variation droplet spacing presented. dependencies on initial Reynolds number, spacing, size ratio, properties, transfer number determined. critical ratio dividing region where collide from they separate is Correlations for coefficients, Nusselt Sherwood numbers lead downstream obtained.
