摘要: Diamond-like carbon (DLC) is a metastable form of amorphous (a-C) containing combination four-fold coordinated sp3 sites and three-fold sp2 sites, with some the bonds terminated by hydrogen (amorphous hydrogenated carbon, a-C:H). This chapter reviews current progress in DLC coating deposition, characterization techniques, characteristics various coatings, and, particular, relevant biological clinical advancements area orthopaedic blood-interfacing applications.
