摘要: Multi-compartment monitoring of residue levels OCPs in coastal marine environment Mumbai has been studied. The concentration total HCHs seawater varied from 0.16 to 15.92 ng/L and concentrations DDT 3.01 33.21 ng/L. HCH the sediment samples was range 3.8 16.2 ng/g. γ-HCH contributed almost 55% HCH. In higher mean comparison its metabolite DDE DDD. different species 0.87 33.73 ng/g 0.38 34.1 variation β-HCH compartments is not significant this could be due high persistence metabolically inactive nature isomer. α-HCH found more dominant fish whereas major contributor samples.
