摘要: During pregnancy, the uterine artery (UA) undergoes extensive remodeling to permit a 20-40 fold increase in blood flow with associated changes expression of multitude genes. This study used next-gen RNA sequencing technology identify pathways and genes potentially involved arterial adaptations pregnant rat UA (gestation day 20) compared non-pregnant (diestrus). A total 2245 were differentially expressed, 1257 up-regulated 970 down-regulated UA. Gene clustering analysis revealed unique cluster suppressed implicated calcium signaling pathway vascular smooth muscle contraction Transcription factor binding site motif scanning identified C2H2 ZF, AP-2 CxxC as likely factors functional on promoters contraction. In addition, 1686 exhibited alternative splicing that mainly microtubule organization Cross-comparison novel both expressed alternatively spliced; these leukocyte B cell biology lipid metabolism. conclusion, this first comprehensive provides valuable resource for understanding molecular mechanism underlying gestational during pregnancy.
