摘要: A natural connection is demonstrated between Kozeny–Carman relations for porous media and the image processing techniques which have recently been applied to problem of estimating parameters in such relations. It shown that term relation related specific surface area best estimated from a smoothed version actual material surface. To measure this surface, magnification cross section should be chosen so typical correlation length sample corresponds distance comparable 100 discrete picture elements. Under these conditions, assumptions typically made derivation are entirely compatible with resolution constraints imposed by digitizing image. Thus, although measured may considerably smaller magnitude than true (due constraints), value nevertheless required input relation. The argument based on known comparison theorem relating permeabilities two materials differ only addition (without rearrangement) solid more material.
