摘要: Phenothiazines and its related compounds have shown diverse biological activities including psychotropic, anticancer other pharmacological activities. Recent studies suggested the possible interactions between phenothiazines their physiological targets or potential receptors. New types of phenothiazine, such as "half-mustard type" benzo[a]phenothiazines, been synthesized. These stimulated T-cell blast formation, natural killer cell activity (possibly via activation monocytes macrophages) antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity human peripheral blood mononuclear cells, showed against several cancer lines. Benzo[a]phenothiazines induced monocytic differentiation apoptotic death (characterized by internucleosomal DNA fragmentation) in myelogenous leukemic lines, but not also antimicrobial vivo, possibly host-mediated immunopotentiation. On hand, did induce immunopotentiation activity, direct antibacterial vitro. There was positive relation radical intensity show any apparent mutagenic rather be antimutagenic. data suggest applicability benzo[a]phenothiazines for chemotherapy.
