摘要: The use of periodic structures as noise abatement devices has already been the object considerable research seeking to understand its efficiency and see what extent they can provide a functional solu- tion in mitigating from different sources. specific case sonic crystals consisting different materials received special attention studying influence variables on acoustic performance. The present work seeks contribute better understanding behavior these by implementing an approach based numerical method fundamental solutions (MFS) model the acoustic two-dimensional crystals. MFS formulation proposed here is used to evaluate performance composed circular elements, effect varying dimen- sions spacing crystal elements well their absorption sound attenuation provided by global structure, concerns typical traffic sources, establishing some broad indications for those structures.
