摘要: We study the propagation of waves on inflnite and flnite size arrays made subwavelength magnetoelectric resonators. propose an analytical where each resonator is modelled simultaneously by electric a magnetic dipole. show how near fleld coupling wavenumber quantiflcation due to structure induce frequency splitting fundamental mode. theoretically demonstrate that despite spatial period smaller than half wavelength (in vacuum), can e-ciently emits radiations. An analytic expression Q factor associated radiation losses proposed. To correctly estimate this factor, we not only but also far interaction terms between dipoles must be considered.
