摘要: Abstract To compensate the severe path loss of millimeter-wave channel, large-scale antenna arrays are required to provide beamforming gains for millimeter wave communication systems. Since (mmWave) MIMO channel has strong directional selectivity, it is necessary transmitter and receiver perform beam alignment obtaining maximum gains. In this paper, we first propose an adaptive scheme. Based on proposed scheme, hierarchical traversal search algorithm iterative alignment. Both algorithms adjust training time adaptively by exploiting detection improve success rate reduce overhead. Furthermore, in order transmission data reliability system, adopted as termination criterion training. Simulation results show that have higher compared with existing under both line-of-sight (LOS) non-line-of-sight (NLOS) channels. Moreover, more reliable dynamic scenarios, especially short distance between receiver.
