摘要: This report elaborates an integrated vulnerability assessment concept, intended as a knowledge brokerage tool for decision-makers in the Baltic Sea Region. By developing line with advances regional and local adaptation research based on project’s review of scope quality current assessments, supports discussions what is needed systematic region. The rearticulates five critical challenges that potentially hamper realizing full potential assessments to support contribute strategic decisions climate adaptation: Adequate goals; Ability reflect context; Inclusion socio-economic stress; Clear connection between decision-making responses (and integrating policies across sectors levels); merge top-down bottom-up approaches. For each challenge, principle has been formulated, which may serve guide development Region Climate Change Adaptation Strategy.
