摘要: The characteristics of the radio waves reflected from ionosphere over Thumba (0.6°S dip) during spread F conditions are discussed in relation to normal day characteristics. amplitude echo is found fade at a much faster rate and power spectrum analysis reveals two significant fading frequencies. drift speed ground diffraction pattern as determined by closely spaced receiver technique also be higher on days contaminated with F. increase random more than that steady pattern. overall size characteristic ellipse increased region ionosphere, this effect pronounced premidnight period. existence positive dispersion suggested one possible reasons for conditions.
