摘要: The development of AIDS-related lymphomas (ARL) has been on the rise in recent years. During an analysis ARL from AIDS patients, one individual developed atypical syncytial variants high-grade Burkitt's-type B-cell lymphomas, which prompted further study. However, search for a HIV-1 retrovirus, we hypothesized was infecting these cells, led to subsequent discovery type D retrovirus two early-passage lymphoma cell lines derived this patient. Nucleotide and amino acid sequence analysis, as well immunologic reactivity, indicated that virus closely related Mason-Pfizer monkey (MPMV) or simian 1 (SRV-1). MPMV SRV-1 are immunosuppressive retroviruses cause AIDS-like syndrome rhesus macaques. Amplification DNA patient's diagnostic bone marrow biopsy specimen by polymerase chain reaction generated MPMV-specific fragments indicative infection similar MPMV. Additionally, serum contained antibodies recognized retroviral env proteins (gp20 gp70) gag (p27 p14) assayed immunoblot radioimmunoprecipitation techniques. Although there have reports human infected with reactive sera, is first report confirmed isolation, immunoreactivity, viral identification tumor tissue.
