摘要: The behaviour of the rare earths during precipitation sodium, potassium and lead jarosites from both sulphate chloride media was investigated. Efforts to synthesize end-member earth analogues sodium jarosite were unsuccessful. or in presence various concentrations resulted incorporation <0.3 wt.% structure. Comparable levels noted jarosite. Increasing solution pH increasing ferric ion concentration higher precipitate yields, but had only a minimal effect on structural Sodium precipitated predominantly comparable those made solutions. Lead earth-containing solutions incorporated <0.2 earths. SEM studies showed that little morphology jarosites. Clearly, trivalent (RE) elements do not substitute extensively for iron structure, this likely reflects larger size, different co-ordination significantly lower hydrolyzability ions relative ions.
