摘要: The present study reports for the first time a CRTC3-MAML2 fusion gene in mucoepidermoid carcinoma, as determined by RT-PCR and sequencing. We screened total of 67 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded carcinomas presence chimeric genes. In one these samples, was detected. Thus, this report demonstrates existence MAML2 with CREB regulated transcriptional coactivator CRTC3 additional to already known CRTC1. Both fusions seem result an identical tumor phenotype genes CRTC1-MAML2 may play similar role development carcinomas.
