摘要: Abstract Marine macroalgae become increasingly important as a regenerative source of biomass for the production food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and energy. An increasing environmentally sound utilization algae requires closed, land-based cultivation, not limited to coastal or offshore areas. Within this study, segmental ring-shaped cultivation vessels were developed compared tumble in circular tank. The development these innovative approaches also considered economic efficiency, adaptability, handling reliability. growth rates achieved by cultivating red P. palmata C. crispus green alga U. lactuca over test period 7 d used evaluate experimental models. Mean model slightly decreased whereas rate was similar increased tank cultivated algae. system distinctly lowered variable costs reducing necessary volume medium. control process separating supply CO 2 nutrients, temperature from agitation.
