摘要: The periodic succession of night and day has influenced life on earth for millions years. Many organisms have "internalized" this change in the form circadian clock. Its main function is to organize time course biochemical, physiological behavioural processes thereby optimizing an organism's performance anticipating changing environmental conditions. Therefore, it important understand underlying mechanisms that connect core pacemaker, which located suprachiasmatic nuclei (SCN) hypothalamus, with peripheral organs. Several laboratories set out identify genes are under influence It appears clock coordinates transcription key metabolic pathways orchestrating processes. We review these investigations put our experiments, comparison gene expression SCN tissue Per2 mutant wild-type mice, context findings.
