摘要: Abstract Semi-batch emulsion polymerization of methyl methacrylate-butyl acrylate- methacrylic acid monomers were carried out with the addition nano ZnO to monomer feed, obtain a binder for exterior architectural paints. Nano reacted spontaneously groups form zinc methacrylate or dimethacrylate which participated in crosslinking reactions. The amount added was increased up equivalence point and several cases exceeded unmodified, hydrophilic hydrophobic silane modified oxides. emulsions clear polymer films obtained from them characterized conventional methods. FTIR UV/Vis spectra confirmed transformation oxide point. used preparing opaque transparent colored paints tested UV exposure-condensation accelerated weathering along films. color parameter, gloss water contact angle changes determined every 250 h 1000 h. Optical microscopy some AFM, FESEM also further characterizations. Presence cases, additional presence ZnO, provided blistering prevention improvement stability.
