Ruptured Papillary Muscle Following Myocardial Infarction with Long Survival Report of Two Cases

摘要: Two cases of rupture a papillary muscle the left ventricle are presented. We believe that these two longest recorded survivals this complication acute myocardial infarction. A presumptive clinical diagnosis is possible from characteristic history sudden deterioration together with development loud apical systolic murmur. The differential and possibility corrective surgery in patient who survives event discussed.
