Autowart injection therapy for recalcitrant warts.

摘要: Background: Warts are caused by various strains of Human Papilloma Virus. They involve the epithelium skin and mucus membrane. Various treatment options available, but extensive recalcitrant warts not only cause distress to patient cosmetically psychologically also pose a therapeutic challenge treating dermatologist. Aim: To evaluate efficacy autowart injection as option for warts. Materials Methods: Autowart was prepared removing 3 4 mm size wart with radiocautery which crushed under aseptic condition injected in gluteal region suspending water injection. Result: Results were evaluated 53 available patients who turned up follow-up; 35 (66.03%) had complete resolution 2 months time, 12 (22.64%) showed partial improvement, whereas six (11.32%) no improvement.
