Influence of Land Use and Point Source Pollution on Water Quality in a Developed Region: A Case Study in Shunde, China

摘要: To design and implement policy to manage water quality, it is important investigate land use possible sources of pollution. In this study, using Pearson regression analysis, redundancy analysis multiple we assess the influence point on quality in river system Shunde district 2000 2010. The results show that was related positively with surface but negatively impervious urban greening area. Additionally, source emissions chemical oxygen demand (COD) ammonium-nitrogen (NH4-N). total explanatory power spatial variation improved from 43.4% 60.0% 31.3% 57.8% 2010, respectively, when added into between use. Thus, both management pollution control should be considered for improving quality.
