The entry of underrepresented minority students into US medical schools: an evaluation of recent trends.

摘要: OBJECTIVES: Recent challenges to affirmative action suggest the need reassess status of admission underrepresented minority students US medical schools. METHODS: The Association American colleges provided school enrollment data and characteristics. Five measures enrolled an overall performance scale were constructed for each school. Multivariate regression identified significant predictors. Predicted observed values compared. RESULTS: Underrepresented increased by 43% after 1986, peaked at 2014 in 1994, did not increase 1995, decreased 5% 1996.
